The
Gerberas are all individually sleeved and transported in buckets for the local
market.
For out of town deliveries, we use reliable courier companies (NZ Couriers
and Fastway ).
To avoid damage during transport we make sure the flowers are well packed. |
| Tips
|
Cut flowers on sharp angle,
add drop of bleach to fresh water.
Refresh water and re-cut flowers every
few days
When droopy, scald the
gerberas (= 1 1/2 minutes in boiling water), to remove any oxygen bubbles
in stem. Re-cut stem after scalding to remove dead tissue, before you put
flowers back in fresh water.
Keep at room temperature,
avoiding direct sun light and draught.
If storing in chiller,
chiller temperature should be 8-9 Degrees Celsius.

Rotorua head South on State Highway 5 for about 1 kilometre, then turn right
in State Highway 30, towards Tokoroa. After about 12 Kilometres you
